“Popular Kassa-95” JSC, Plovdiv is a joint stock company established in 1995. The company is the successor of the “Popular Kassa” – Plovdiv, registered as a cooperative company under the Cooperatives Act and subsequently as a joint stock company under the Commercial Law and is one of the founders of the Stock Exchange in Plovdiv, which later merged with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia. Among the founders of the company are Dr. ec. Eng. P.
Neychev, Prof. D.Sc. Ac. Konarev, P. Ilarionova, M. Yazadjiyan.
Until 2011, "Popular Kassa-95" JSC operated as an investment intermediary with the most developed branch network (25 offices) in the country. The vision and strategy of the company were based on the deep belief that the capital market should be accessible to all citizens, which emphasizes the social orientation of the existing business model.
For the years of its existence “Popular Kassa-95”; JSC – Plovdiv has become a reliable partner for thousands of small investors in the dynamically developing capital market in Bulgaria in relatively weak economic and social areas of no interest to large commercial banks. The unique business model based on the principles of the digital economy, allowing a sharp reduction in distance to the client and optimization of relations with the client and the principles of network economy are extremely valuable experience in recent economic history.
At the moment, “Popular Kassa-95”; JSC has a court-registered capital of BGN 1,500,000, divided into 1,500,000 dematerialized, registered shares with a par value of BGN 1. The contributions against the subscribed capital have been paid in full by the shareholders.
The capital structure is as follows:
• Legal entities – 90.60%
• Individuals – 9.40%
The company has a one-tier management system, managed by the General Meeting and the Board of Directors.
The subject of activity of “Popular Kassa-95” JSC is: “Trade, marketing, advertising, mediation, commercial representation of local and foreign persons in the country and abroad, as well as any other activity permitted by law.”
